God and religion are two different things.
God does not care for religion as it breaks His Commandments.
Who is doing the forcing that you speak of anyway?
All my 58 years I have never had anyone try to force religion on me. Nor do I know anyone else that has.><>

Your question is, why can't we all just accept people that are different?
People's beliefs get confused with what is right and wrong. Right and wrong is a belief, but a belief is not right nor wrong. Because of this skewed way of looking at belief, people attack those who don't believe the same things as they do.
I guess you just want people to agree with you, which is why you praise them at the end. That defeats the purpose of asking for answers.

you can not beleive in something which is there.
so belief is a state of mind .
beleiving and not beleiving in the creator will make no difference to him,
all the difference is only for us.
u choose your path, which u feel comfartable.
and may be , u want to know, u reconfirm your beleif
you will find GOD, if u show love and compassion to all around u
spread love and compassion and u will feel GOD in you

"Why is Christianity better than other religions?"
In all major religions, the followers strive to rid themselves of sin through various practices. They may pray in a prescribed way, do various good works, deny themselves legitimate sexual pleasure, follow dietary restrictions, lie on beds of nails, etc. The uniqueness of Jesus is shown in His statement, "The Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins." No other religious leader has ever made this claim. Jesus Christ alone can wash away every sin anyone has ever committed, be-cause of what He did on the cross. By paying the penalty for our sin, He can release us from the torture of guilt. We cannot do anything in the way of religious works to wash away our sins. Forgiveness is a free gift of God (Ephesians 2:8,9).

Christains believe in heaven and hell. Out of love for others they want to share their faith so that others can enjoy heaven and not burn in hell. The important thing it that Christians must share with those who are ready to receive it. Those who are not ready will reject and take offence. Therefore Christians must rely on the Holy Spirit to direct them to share as only He knows the state of the heart of man. So in order not to hit and miss I request all Christians to heed the promptings of the Holy Spirit as to when to share their faith with someone. When people are ready to receive there will be no war.

I don't try to push my beliefs on anyone. I just want to share what I believe they should know before they make their final decision. If they don't agree I told them what I know to be right and they can go on believing like they did before.

Hi there, Beautiful....
I wholly agree with you. Some among us have not yet learned how to temper their faith with compassion. There are what some call "Ultra-Christians"....... There is nothing wrong with believing and standing up for what one believes in, but there is difficulty in learning from one who does not understand that it is hard to swallow an apple before one has had the opportunity to really "chew" on it.
Your sister,
Ginger
