Oh, you should wash your hair every day. Hair will not dry out if you wash it everyday. You could use coditioner once or twice a week.( Conditioner will not make your hair greasy). I am a cosmetologist. Your hair will not be greasy anymore, and your head will stop itching. Use tea tree shampoo. It works great!! Good luck

If you were shampooing often, I'd suggest that you change your shampoo to something less harsh. On the other hand, you might want to wash your hair more often, maybe 3 times a week. Your skin needs to breath, but your body oil might be plugging up your pores. Also drink water to keep yourself hydrated.

If that doesn't help, you might have a scalp condition like seboria, etc. When you do wash your hair, try using some over-the- counter medicated shampoo like Selsun Blue or something similar.

If it's still itchy, your doctor might have some suggestions.

Having a dry scalp can cause that and oily hair too. I would suggest you wash it a bit more often and use conditioner. If there is an odor then that would be dandruff (which is different then a dry scalp) Dandruff is something that a doctor needs to see to. Most so called dandruff shampoos are really for a dry scalp and I recommend them to no one. Good luck and hope this helps you.
