that is one of the toughest models to figure out
winchester moel 12's came in a huge variety of types
the differences were many , the grade levels many
do not believe the person telling you $150
get it to a good gun shop for appraisal
there are far too many factors with a model 12 to guess
too bad about the compensator though

To clarify:
He said "good" condition. An excellent condition Model 12 can bring a thousand $$ or more and the addition of the cutts only detracts from the value. I agree that he should have it appraised if it's in better condition than "good".
