I don't think Christians are concerned with their behavior. They think all non-christians are going to hell and they're going to heaven.

42% is just of the people polled. That does not constitute everyone in the world or in the United States for that matter. Christians should not just be aware of the way the treat non-Christians but other Christians as well. May God Bless

Hey we are the persecuted ones, just look on this site. How many people are saying that Christians are scum and blah blah blah. It seems more like it is the nons causing the problems. Remember this is your world, Christians are just visiting. Our home is somewhere else. So run your world how you want, just don't expect us not to try to show people the way. We are doing it out of love, non Christians are preaching at us out of hate. And And remember, just because someone says they are a Christian doesn't make them one. You will be able to tell one by how they live their lives, and what they say.

Yes I think Christians should be a careful. BUT don't you think some of the non believers can maybe be a little more careful? Just because you don't believe in God does that give you the right to put us down? and bait us with rude questions? call us names respect everyone no matter what they believe that goes for NON Believers as well

Well the Bible tells us that in the last days that the world will be the way it is now. Jesus has never been accepted. When he walked this earth, when he died on the cross for us or , when he rose from the dead. The bible tells us that these things will happen, but the we need to stand fast and hold or ground. Christians should never judge anyone. Because the Bible tells us do not cast the first stone. Jesus did not condemn people, people condemned themselves. We (Christians) should do what Jesus tells us in the bible.

Gee, funny, all the statistics I've seen show 80% of the US to state they are one type or another Christian and only 0.5% Atheist.
Don't know where you get your stats from, but there 6 billion people in the world and 20-30% of them are Chrisitians of one type or another. 20-25% or so are Muslims. Buddhists and Hindus make up most of the rest and only 2-10% of the world claims to be Athiest or Agnostic.
Muslims and Christians make up almost half the world.
A lot depends on the statics you read.
Adherents claims over 2 billion Christian
Britanica in 1993 said there were 1.9 Billion with 34% of the World as Christians
The CIA says: Christians 33.03% (of which Roman Catholics 17.33%, Protestants 5.8%, Orthodox 3.42%, Anglicans 1.23%), Muslims 20.12%, Hindus 13.34%, Buddhists 5.89%, Sikhs 0.39%, Jews 0.23%, other religions 12.61%, non-religious 12.03%, atheists 2.36% (2004 est.)
Now who should be careful what they say!
And state where you facts came from. I tried my best to find TWO non-demoninational sources. Did you get your facts off a Muslim Or Atheist slanted site!

First of all, God don't read the polls and neither do I. The Bible says that narrow is the way that leads to everlasting life. God has rules and has sealed them in His word. It's our responsibility to know God's Word and follow it. You can't have pet sins and expect to be right with God. Man has never had a right relationship with God. If God says something is a sin then so should I. I can tell you the truth but it's up to you to believe and receive it. Narrow yes, Narrow~Minded no.

Of course, we as Christians need to take our blindfolds off and see how we treat others.
Our own Bible says judge yourself and you'll not be judged.
We as christians need to know how to speak to non Christians (or be quiet) and it is not by explaning or claiming Christian ideals.
Jesus was all things to all people, Christians too often try to be one thing to all people and they can like it or leave it. This is not love.
Great question, this isssue is on my heart.
Thanks for hearing me

Definitely.
Christianity 101 - humility.
Most Christians don't or won't learn that lesson.
The Prophet Isa/Jesus (pbuh) showed humility when interacting with people. Even his teachings were similar to informal (but moving) conversations rather than sermons.

I would, rather, agree with you.
On the basis that there are many ways to find a friend. Most of them being found in a faith far from one's own.... But, whatever another person's faith is, one cannot speak amicably by condemning at face value.......
