It is a scientific fact that in 2 years 50% of the population living at 50 meters above sea level and under will be under the sea, which means cities like Hong Kong, New York would be submerged. In 10 years only the peak of Everest will be above sea level. By this time only 2% of the population in this world would have survived this catastrophe. Missions on mars are now underway to develope an ecosystem capable of sustaining life on the red planet.

Interesting question. In my opinion, for the short term, I would say no. As much as global warming is starting to have a major impact on our environment (weather patterns, natural disasters, climate change), humans have something that most (if not, all) other organisms have not been able to do... adapt to most (if not, all) environments.

This is due to (in comparison to most other organisms) our ability for higher brain functions (thought, manipulate, communication). All of which leads to the development of tools and technology. Humans are resourceful and are able to develop tools and technology that will help us meet our needs or comfort. This would continue in the face of global warming.

Besides, there's too many of us around the world. So, in the short term, no.

I won't even go into evolution.

unless you can figgure out how to kill God, man will never go extinct.. He has garenteed we will be about forever, but after the tribulation we will be changed into immortals-- like we were before the flood and before sin entered thru Eve and Adam's transgression..

Theoritically it can't but who knows. If we keep destroying and ignoring about our only environment, our beloved Earth, we can end up extinct.

No, there are 6,300,000,000 of us. Global warming could kill 99% of humans (it can't, but let's say...), and there would still be 63,000,000 people, more than you could count before you died of old age.
