Jasm. First many have ben where you are and have made it and so will you because you don't have a choice. Your problem isn't credit, you need to work on income. SEE your postion not as a problem but SEE it as a opertunity to have a better life. Shoot for the top, SEE you worth, and you do have worth. I can see your intelligence just by the way you wrote thios post. YOU want to improve your sitsuation and I can see that...and that say's something. Some would just give up...you aren't. After you obtain employement get a secured card even for $100...then build your credit from there. You can go to creditboards.com and learn how to build a strong credit history. It will take 1-2 years but you can do this!

First as you probably already know, you'll have to find another job asap. Even if you just pay the min. pmt. try to pay on time. Try to pay off the smaller ones first. I know the key here is getting another job and how much you will make. Soon it will be tax time and you probably get a refund since you have a child to claim. That should help. Are you getting child support? If not go to legal aid and let them help you to get it. This will all take some time and I wish I could do more for you, I been in the same boat you're in now. Best of luck to you.

Bad credit is one of the worst problems to have... however there exists a solution.

I will hereby talk from my personal experience.

I did debt consolidation a couple of years ago, however If I had to do it again I would pay to some minor details,
if someone wants to get out of debt today it is pretty easy with a debt consolidation plan, however it may get a bit tricky at times, I suggest you get as much information as possible online on this first,

a good place to start in my humble opinion is astraight to the point ebook with question and answer I found :
