I know how you feel I was there done that. I too were a catholic met an Egyptian Muslim girl and converted into Islam thinking the same way as you do, but I saw he light, when you studied the real history behind Islam and its founder you will realized that everything that look like gold is not gold, you are changing the truth for a lie. Did you know that Mohammad was a pedophile he married Aisha when she was just 6 year old little girl and consummated the marriage when she was 9 years old still a little girl playing with dolls? Did you know that Allah was one of many gods from the Kaaba? or Do you know that if you want to change back to your religion you may lose your life? You see that and many other things bothers me about Islam.

Well as said before, if you do not believe that Jesus is Gods son, then you are kind of screwed. Because no one can get to heaven or know God the father without going through Jesus. There are many religions in the world, it does not change the fact that there is only one God. Maybe there are good teachings in other religions. But why did you believe in God to begin with. Being a Christian isn't about having a good time and enjoying be a Christian, there is joy from being a Christian of course, but we are strangers here, we are going to be persecuted, and hated until we go home. Why was it so easy for you to be swayed by a different religion, is your faith that weak! Do you just want a faith for a hobby?

The majority of christians who convert to Islam are catholics! What bothers me: the fact that I'd have to put mohammed before Jesus! And why I don't believe that Allah is the same as God is because allah seems to want to get rid of Israel! Judaism and Christianity both say that the true God is the God of Israel! That's just my opinion=)
plus, doesn't it also say in the bible that anyone who rejects Jesus as God's only begotten Son rejects God?
I also don't like the idea of the islamic heaven...once in heaven all should be equal in the eyes of God...why are there slaves then!
have fun=)

I don't know too much about Islam, and I don't know the Quran either. But, I believe the Bible, it's the Word of God.
Allah might be the name muslims refer to God. I don't have anything against that. But Jesus is the Son of God; after all, how could we explain all the prophecies concerning the Messiah --about 300 prophecies fulfilled in Jesus? How could we explain the raise and fall of the great world empires and many other prophecies? (http://www.bibleuniverse.com/prophecy/prophecies.asp)
Truth is not relative, but absolute. There's only one truth, either the Bible or the Quran. One of them is true, but not both of them. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life"; either He was saying the truth, and He's the only way to Heaven, or He was a liar.
I don't have anything against muslims (except for the terrorists acting as... kamikaze? which, of course, it's not right to kill other people). Sometimes it's believed that all the muslims are terrorists, but that's not true. Not all muslims are terrorists. Muslims shoudn't be blamed for what terrorists do.
There's only one living God, and I believe He's revealed Himself through the Bible.

Well it is not a bother, actually they are correct in that Jesus is Gods son. But Jesus is more than a prophet according to them. Unless they believe by God (YHWH) (Jehovah) (Yahweh) Jesus is the only way by sacrifice our sins are forgiven, then the prospect of living forever is pointless. God has promised the earth, and his kingdom will be forever.
Secondly, Islam like most of Christendom, believe in the after life that all believers will go to heaven. Of course you know that only a select few persons that are chosen or bought out of the earth will be in heaven. our purpose is to live on the earth as Adam and eve were purposed too. Their belief is a Babylon religion. There are many others.

The heart of Christianity is the belief the Jesus Christ is the Son of God, coming from the Father and the Word of the Father in flesh and blood. Jesus said, no one comes to the Father except by me. If this is not true, then everything Jesus said is a lie and Christianity if false but I am convinced that Jesus is who He said He was and therfore, I do not believe that allah is god because Father God does not lie.

The injeel is a holy book to them - that is the bible, or the gospel, or whatever - every muslim has a differnt answer to what that is.
The bible says Jesus is God, The quran says he is not god (PBUH). Their holy books are rather contridictory -
thrn you get the standard answer that the bible has been corrupted.
Then you ask the question, why would god let the holy book get corrupted by Man, And they say - Because he Gave us the quran as the final book, and that will never change.
And they never did answer the question of why would God do that?
But to answer that question - I never knew that about you

That is probably all it is because it doesn't mention Jesus as the son of God. So since they believe Jesus is the son of God, and it doesn't mention it they think Allah must be different than God. I completely agree that God and Allah are one in the same. I so that religions execpt Satanism worship the same god, but call him by a different name.
Also can u send me info about Islam. I am always willing to learn about different religions. thanks just click my photo and send me an e-mail thanks.
Congrats on finding the path right for u.

The problem is that in modern society christians dislike Islam mainly due to the fanatical beliefs of a few. What they fail to realise is that a few really just means a few, not a percentage, not a majority but a small handful of people that use Islam as a tool for propoganda. What they also fail to realise is that there are more fundamental christians than there are fundamental Muslims, although they have yet to take arms (although you could say the invasion of Iraq could be construed as such, but thats only in part).

That they don't believe Jesus was the Son of God?
I'm trying to figure out what kind of Catholic you really were since now you no longer believe?
First Epistle Of Saint John
Chapter 5
6 This is he that came by water and blood, Jesus Christ: not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit which testifieth, that Christ is the truth. 7 And there are three who give testimony in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost. And these three are one. 8 And there are three that give testimony on earth: the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three are one. 9 If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater. For this is the testimony of God, which is greater, because he hath testified of his Son. 10 He that believeth in the Son of God, hath the testimony of God in himself. He that believeth not the Son, maketh him a liar: because he believeth not in the testimony which God hath testified of his Son.
"He that believeth not the Son"... By refusing to believe the testimonies given by the three divine persons, that Jesus was the Messias, and the true Son of God, by whom eternal life is obtained and promised to all that comply with his doctrine. In him we have also this lively confidence, that we shall obtain whatever we ask, according to his will, when we ask what is for our good, with perseverance, and in the manner we ought. And this we know, and have experience of, by having obtained the petitions that we have made.
