I'm out of the loop, so I'm not sure you can join at 17. I'm sure a recruiter can answer your question. The one part I can answer is that you can not directly join any special forces outfit. To be a Ranger, a Seal, a Green Beret, etc you must enlist in the corresponding branch of service and work harder than you can possibly imagine. If you want to be a Seal, you must enlist in the Navy. Being in the Special Forces means you are way beyond the average soldier in terms of physical fitness and mental fortitude. Good luck, soldier.

Simply put, no you can't. You need at least a GED to get into the Army: the Navy, especially SEALS, you'll need your high school diploma. Which means you have to graduate first. You can't do anything withouth completing your education.
You also have to make sure your qualified for military duty as well, including taking a phyiscal, which is hard to pass for a lot of people. The military can disqualifiy you for a number of reasons.
So don't just the gun and chill. Get the facts online. Talk to a recruiter, that's your best bet. LOL skip school? Give me a break kid. And it's hooah. You got a lot of learning to do, teenie

at 17, you must have a High School Diploma and written permission from all custodial parents in order to enlist.
At 18, you can TRY to get in with a GED, but it's doubtful that you will get in without 15 college credits. The Navy simply doesn't want or need GED holders. By skipping school, you are showingthe navy that you do NOT have what it talkes to persevere inthe military. It's a commitment to finish school, and if you take the easy way out, the Navy will look at it unfavorably. I mean, if you can't be bothered to put for the effort to finish Hoigh School, howinhell do you expect to make it through one of the toughest(mentally, physcally and emotionally) schools in the world?!
One does not go straight into BUD/s. one must first enlist into a source rating, go through Boot Camp and the A school, beofre being allowed to request a BUD/s tryout. IF you are accepted, you then go to BUD/s, but if you fail out( and 75% do) you will revert back to your source rating and be sent to the Fleet.

First, you do not join the SEAL teams, you join the navy and request to try out, if you pass the initial quals, then you go to their training facility. Good luck,

I don't think you actually JOIN the SEALS. There is a lot of testing and writing that has to be done and then you have all the physical tests.

that will be extreeeeeemly tough. my brother attempted the seals after he was already in the navy. it took him 2 years even to qualify for the seals. yes this is common. you have to be in the navy already, qualify, and get approved by the higher ups. even after 2 years training he couldn't make it longer than a week. he said it was wayyy to ******* cold.
