Depends who I am "drinking" with. Most cases would be iced tea.
I'd go for wine, something dry and white.
If it's a heavy drinking croud, I'd go for shots of tequila, and instead of passing the turkey, I would just pass on the turkey, preferably before I passed....out.

for the kids a bubbly fruit punch with added soda water which they can make themelves which keeps them busy.
white wine goes well with white meats alongs as its not to fruity or to sweet.
red wine with red meat like a cab sav or merlot.

A long, cold glass of RED STRIPE BEER, good by it self or with any meal any time any where. Indeed two bottles of Red Stripe beer is even better.
