I heard it is very cheap to have your hair chemically straightened in china. is this true and is it safe?

yes its cheaper. but any chemical on hair can not be safe. certainly it is going to damage your hair partially.

all i can say is that i got mine straightened in Japan, and its not so far from China, and it rocks!!! the chemicals don't really mess up your hair that much, and its still straight-and its been 3 months now...~~

and the guy above me is wrong, i got mine permemently straightened for more then $100, (like $130) but then again, i m in middle school, so i got a 30% discount. yay

it's pretty popular in Asia. it costs around $20 to straighten your hair permanently
