I very much doubt it.

My own suspicion is that God's mightily PO'd with George. He hasn't made very good witness by his actions.

His faith in what? His own decisions or his delusions about God putting him in office and backing him up? If we're operating on the assumption that God involves himself in the baseness of earthly politics, why not look to Iraq for the testing of Bush's faith? Or how about budget and trade deficits that boggle the mind, and an economy that leaves middle and lower income people at a loss? These things must be (at least should be) weighing far more heavily on the President's mind and soul than the outcome of a simple election.
