Okay, this sounds nuts, but here's the deal. My fiance came to me today and told me that last night she had a "vision" of God when she was in bed (I was not there). Not just a vision, but a "message" that she "didn't have a lot of time", and that she need to make sure her loved ones knew how much she loved them. My fiance is not crazy, and it took her all day to get up the nerve to tell me about this experience. It affected her very deeply, and she's been crying off and on all day because of this experience. She says she was wide awake, sitting up in bed, so it was not a dream. Rather, the voice woke her from her sleep. She said that initially she felt very at peace about it, but as she laid in bed afterwards and thought about what had happened it frightened her alot. She wasn't able to get back to sleep. Anyone had similar experiences? She is so genuine and has no reason to make this up. It has very much affected her emotionally.

Maybe it is some kind of hallucination.. You may wish to see a psychologist about it. Certain illness might trigger it..

I don't think it was God. I think it was her Spirit Guide. If this were
a "mental" thing, it would be happening all the time. While awake
hearing voices or seeing things, it would happen all the time. SO
I believe she has had a spiritual experience. Tell her not to be
afraid. The spirit was not there to hurt her....only give her a
warning or advise. Something she may need to do. It did not tell
her she was going to die soon.....it only told her the truth, we all
don't have alot of time....Perhaps,....she is supposed to be doing
something in particular, maybe keeps puting off. But it needs to
be done. That is what I truly believe. Trust me when I tell you...
I have had so many "spiritual" or paranormal things happen to
me in my life, I expect this now, and it always amazes me....
Ask her what SHE thinks what that message meant. What does
she feel. Feel free to e-mail me, I can help you both I believe.
Tell her rest assured, nothing to fear. There is something she's
supposed to be doing....and she is procrastinating. God Bless.

Wow, visions and dreams are from God. People who never experienced such a thing always thinks the person who had one is crazy.

Something similar happened to me about 10 years ago. I was woken out of my sleep and was wide awake about 3:00 am. I heard Rev. 12 as if I was witnessing this Bible passage. I only heard this and didn't see anything.

It sounded like something was being thrown to the earth and had landed in the desert. Then I heard an angry lion pacing back and forth roaring like he (Satan) was really angry. The lions roar was so frightening and loud, It frightened me that I could not move in my bed. I have never been so frightened in my whole life.
I knew then it was Satan being thrown out of heaven, tossed to the earth, seeking whom he could devour.

I prayed to God that he would protect me from Satan and the vision or what ever you would call this stopped.

It was right before the fall of Jim Baker and Jimmy Swaggart and maybe God was trying to show me that our adversary, the devil is going about the earth like a roaring lion seeking whom he could destroy their life. And time is running out for the devil?

If your finance had a peace there is nothing to worry aobut. God is warning her, like he warned me.

As human beings, our perceptions tend to be all we ever work with to undestand the world around us. These perceptions are highly subject to your general health, environmental condition, etc. Shortened: hallucinations (not just drug induced) are much more common than we would like to believe. Just open an optical illusion book to see how easy it is to see things that are not there or ask a magician whose job is to fool your perceptions. Also, in the case of dreams, there is a phenomenon were your mind and eyes are semiconscious, but your body in mostly asleep. Look it up, its facinating stuff.
Not to mention, she believes in things she has never seen and probably has all her life. Does it really surprise you that she is just continuing her delusions?

I had a weird experience like this too but I was at the dentist office under gas. I remembered it though and cried about it for weeks. My husband thinks maybe the doc gave me way to much gas. I don't know it freaked me out though.

It was ether demonic, lack of sleep, or God. If you gave us details on what the spirit said we might be able to determine the orgin. I've seen wierd things that I think were of God but they were in dreams. In Daniel and Revalation it said that they saw visions.

Your instinct says,"She is so genuine and has no reason to make this up." Why do you doubt her words?Support her.I've had experiences like this. She should trust her initial reaction of peace, and examine her interpretation of fear.

Ask her to see a therapist. It's not a matter of being 'crazy'. Sometimes your brain plays weird tricks on you that you don't understand.
I don't believe it was a holy vision, but I believe you should be there for her during this emotionally stressful time .

Just because she's not crazy doesn't mean that her brain didn't play one heck of trick on her. Just be there for her and don't let her become an active prophet and accidentally cause her own doom.
