Sweet sixteen
Insecurities seem to gleam.
The mirrior shows the tears
As she tries to hide her idenity.
Thirty four and shes walking out the door
Pain grasps her eyes
As she tries to hide
All her thoughts inside.
Memories fade and memories stay
Always dreaming always gleaming
the mirrior shows her insecurities
and shes dying for one more wish.
Just one more kiss.
Her life passes before her eyes
As the tears seem to fly.
She wishes she wouldnt have to die.
Shes ninety six wishing she was sixteen agian.
Her life fades from her hands
As she lies in her bed
She never lived a life of her dreams
She just lived everyday or so it seems.
Memories fade and memories stay
shes dying for one more wish.
Just one more kiss.
Her life passes before her eyes
As the tears seem to fly.
She wishes she wouldnt have to die.
And there she is now in the sky
Wishing life didnt pass her by.
All the memories wouldve been there
If the blood didnt spill at sweet sixteen.
If the knife hadnt cut
If the tears wouldnt have fallen.
If the screaming wouldve stopped
If she didnt fall into the hands of death.
She'd be dreaming of just one more wish.
And wishing for just one more kiss

Well this is just kindof a quote, and it doesn't really have anything to do with sweet sixteen, but everything to do with bein proud of her. Mom mom gave me this and I loved it, it made me feel so special, loved, and that she really was Proud of me

look at a few example from cards and poems online and take a template from the one you like the best, but add to it to make it more personal. add things that she would understand and feel is coming from you knowing her all her life (i.e. growing up, fixing her hair, seeing her at bday parties, having crushes on boys, school, friends, the way she smiles, etc.)
have fun at the party!
