Well, it depends on several factors. As previously mentioned, your size, weight, and sensitivity to caffeine. I'd also add the speed of metabolism (how fast you digest energy sources). Also, are you drinking (or eating) caffeine on an empty stomach, or have you eaten substantive food recently? All important factors. :)

I myself have a problem with caffiene.. I cant drink anything like coffee, tea, or drink a coke after 3pm.. it stays with me well into the night.. I wont be able to sleep. I will get tired, but just toss and turn the whole night long..

I read a general thing one time that said the peak effect of the caffeine is something like 4 hours after you drink it.

Depending on loads of factors, like your weight, the whether, how used to caffeine u r and so on.
Don't ask, just go for it. There's nothing like an ice cold coke if your thirsty!! Or just because!!
