Give it a few weeks, even a mnth. that way feelings can be sorted out. Its not going to be easy, but i am sure you can work it out

Depending on how serious your relationship was it can be very difficult to do that. From my own personal experience i would say that in serious relationships it is best to part ways at first and allow eachother to have breathing room and time to mourn. If later on you find that you both are comfortable with being friends that's great- go for it. Trying to be friends right after a breakup can lead to confusion and lingering hopes that cause more pain in the long run. But, you know how your relationship went and whether or not it's possible for you. I wish you the best, breaking up is painful.

Friends? That is always what the person who broke it off wants to be. Help her cope by getting out of her life. As long as you are around, she will have a hard time getting over you.

give her time. you can't just be friends with someone who caused you pain, right? just let her mend the pieces. if you have a strong friendship before the relationship, you can surely bring the old friendship back.
