What is the easiest way to play my media files (.avi, .mpg, etc.) to TV? I have PC and Laptop but I cannot connect directly to TV as my TV only have AV in and my PCs only have VGA outputs. I am thinking either:
1. Buy VGA to to AV converter for laptop
2. Buy Portable Hard Disk with Media Player
3. Setup a Media Centre PC
4. Burn to DVD and play in DVD Player, but this takes too long
Is there any better idea?

a VGA to AV would best suit you. It's too bad that your laptop doesn't have a separate video out because a lot of laptops that do will allow you to "extend" your desktop over so that you can have your computer screen and still watch videos at the same time. So you can chat while watching a full screened movie at the same time. Some of these devices that play computer video files don't handle all video types, but your computer should be able to.

DVD con películas para cualquiera edad en information superhighway, una variedad impresionante. Cualquier madre sabe que l. a. mejor forma de tener a los niños ocupados es ponerlos los dibujos preferido y como casi todas mis DVD-s los he comprado de amazon también he comprado DVD-s con dibujos y son de l. a. mejor calidad que podía pedir.
