Yes, God will understand, because he understands that we all sin. Only Jesus was without sin. If you think something that is unkind about God, or anybody else for that matter, tell God (in prayer, in your mind or out loud) that you are sorry, and ask Him, in Jesus' name, to heal your mind so you will think fewer unpleasant thoughts. Bless you.

No Clue. On the other hand, I lost a step son to arrhythmia 5 years ago. Nothing happened to kill him, he just dropped, and died while medics tried to revive him.
I had nothing nice to say then, inside or outside my mind. I still am a bit uneasy, and I will never take the BS that people from organized religion tried to feed me. I guess, that when push comes to shove, I'll fine out how understanding of human nature God is. If he can't accept that time period for what it was, then I'll be delighted to toast marshmallow's or my body parts. I wouldn't want to be there if I'm to be rebuked for my feelings at that time.
On the other hand, what you are describing sounds almost like baiting. I don't think the outlook would be good if it is baiting. I've seen what an angry bear can do, turned my blood cold, and that isn't anywhere near all powerful.

I am curious of how you can say something in your head and it is deep in your head but yet you don't mean it. But to answer your question, God knows our heart. He knows what we really mean and do not mean. He would judge us justly on that. May God Bless

Oh I used to think about that when I was Christian. Cause, I would start to doubt him or something, then I'd be like "No, I don't doubt you, I'm sorry!" (Just shows you the Christian tactics of keeping members.) But then I explored the doubts and became Atheist.
That's probably not an option you like, so I say, if god is all-knowing, he'll know what's truly in your heart, so don't sweat it.

God only understands what you do.
God is everywhere, all-powerful and created the universe out of whatever was there...God?
Every thought you have is God's thought.
If you practice unconditional acceptance, you will clearly see God within.

The enemy can put thoughts into our minds;
but if we seek such thoughts, or entertain them, then there can be cause for concern.
Better, to be studying His Word, praying, and having good clean activities (fun) with friends ...then the enemy won't have as much opportunity.

If you didn't mean it, it was probably just a stray thought tossed in there by Satan. Not your problem. Those will be placed at HIS feet to explain away. muahahahaha!
