Well allow me to enlighten you since i've been in the military for 12 years i guess i can explain. We are dumb because we choose to fight and be away from our families during birthdays, holidays, anniversaries and other important events that you have the opportunity to enjoy because of dumb people like us, but let me tell you what i think of you. You sound like someone who join the service and could not leave the streets back in the block so you ended up getting kicked out dishonorably and of course it was everyones fault but yours, so i know it's our dumb fault you did not make it in this man's army(nothing against you ladies we are all soldiers).

i am not in the military nor is any of my family or friends. but i do not think military people are dumb. in fact they are some of the bravest and smartest people. most people don't know how to load and maneuver a tank. or fire without dying. they have to come up with plans of attack which require intelligence. they are the people protecting our country. they are not the dumb ones after all they're the ones with the weapons to protect themselves from an attack. the regular civilians are the defenseless ones pretty much.

What would make you think they were dumb? My cousin graduated from the Air Force Academy, and you have to be smart to get in there. I have a nephew who is an instructor at Anapolis...definitely not a dummy. There are others in my family in the military too, but I just thought I would throw out those two examples for you.

No, it doesn't meet the criteria of a rhetorical question.
Thus, to answer. It isn't that military people are dumb by any means, rather that people in general are morons, as you yourself kindly demonstrate.

As a former United States Marine whit a college degree I would say I am not the dumb one here. However because some of us put our asses on the line...you are able to ask your dumb question.

Military people are not dumb. This is a very ignorant question!
People check out the background, straight from illegal immigration.

Well I'm not a military person myself, but I did marry one. I would theorize that the particular stereotype you've chosen to pinpoint might be explained by a peculiar cultural dichotomy between "brain" and "brawn." And, while you might be smarter than my husband (although I seriously doubt it), I am quite sure he's better than you in bed.

Why do people think wife beaters are bringing sexy back? Rhetorical question waiting for a hairy chested 15 year old to respond back.

They're not dumb. Plenty go back to school for master's and PhDs.
It's just too bad they can't tell Bush that the war in Iraq was a dumb idea without having to be forced to do push-ups for the rest of their lives. Hey man, the military did their job - Bush and Rummy didn't do their homework.
What's sad is how wound-aroud-the-axle we are and how many Americans are going to die while the politicians un-fuzzuck the mess they made.
