recently , i had the opportunity to sit and chat with the girl i like in the library. it was ironic because i did not expect to see her(although i was hoping and praying that i would). she sees me and signaled for me to come over. i did. we talked and there was a small moment of silence. so, i man up and asked her could i study with her. she said "suuure." i can remember telling her that the first time i met her she didn't seem like a freshman and that i thought she was mature grounded and level-headed. i can also remember her telling me that i make her feel excited. she excused herself because she had a phone call. she comes back and invites me to dinner with her and her friend(it was informal). on our way back to our dorms we continued to talk. but, once we got to the restaraunt she was kinda quiet. i know we were sitting and waiting for our table, but she was really quiet as if she had a lot on her mind. even at the table she didn't say much to me.

I can think of two distinct possibilities: one, she is a shy gal and was nervous at the thought of having a casual date with you; or two, she thought you were one way when she met you and at dinner she found you to be another way that wasn't exactly to her liking. My vote is for number one. I assume yours is too. Hope it works out!

Maybe she ran out of things to say and was giving you the opportunity to have your say--or--she may have been tired. Maybe she didn't get enough sleep the night before. That happens a lot to some people and then they get their "second wind", sort of speak and liven up. It happens this way to people who are diabetic. They slow down just before their meals. All in all, I really wouldn't worry about it.

Mike you are a lucky guy. Try this, tell her about your feelings, but be sure you are going to foool around. She was quite just because she was not sure of the response from her boyfriend. Go easy and be cool, maintain the communication with her.You will surely get the response. Bye good luck

Maybe she was thinking about her boyfriend. Just kidding.....she is probably just shy, or maybe she was really hungry and just wanted to eat.
