Jesus spoke in His ministry that a testimony means more if it comes from a witness. Anyone can write their own biography and say whatever they like, but the fact is Jesus made a point of having eyewitnesses to everything He did.

Most of the Bible is the OT, which was written down before Jesus was even born. The first books in the NT weren't written until 30 years after Jesus died! (Those people who the Gospels are attributed to did not write those books. The Church assigned the authors a few hundred years after the books were written.)

i think you are a little wrong in fact the bible was written latter by people who didn't knew Jesus, the first of the books (by time between year 65 and 80) of the bible (the new testament) was the testament of Marcus the real author is unknown, the scientist believe that someone made a translation of the original books, but you should read the Apocrypha books, there is a book that it is said is written by the same jesus, a lot of people wrote books about their beliefs and what jesus tought them, but not all of them have been found, a lot of them probably were lost burned on times were christians were hunted, then only the people who knew the story, and the teaching of christ wrote it later, years later... you should search the only book that has been found that is written on arameic and on the same time of life of jesus, and it is believed that the same jesus wrote it, and it is not the same things on the bible!

The Bible was written by people of God that wrote as the Spirit of God moved on them. To answer your question, some of the Bible was written before Jesus came to Earth. While Jesus was on earth, His Words are recorded in the Bible. The things that are written after He was crucified are written thru inspiration of the Holy Spirit. May God Bless

Dude--The Old Testement books were written hundreds of years before Jesus lived. I think the oldest books date back to around 1500 BC. As far as the New Testement, Jesus spent his short adult life--he was only about 32 when he was crucified--preaching the Word. And even then, nobody wrote down his story and his teachings until after he died. The earliest New Testement writings were from Paul, and those were around 10 years after Jesus died. Then came Mark (30 years after) Matthew (35-40 years) Luke (about 50 years after JC died) and finally Jonh, whose book was penned a good 80 years later.

Jesus is the Word manifested. The bible, which was begun before Jesus came, was written over a 400 year span. Jesus lived on Earth only 33 years.

If the Bible is written after Jesus died, and it is written by his followers, then how true is the fact in the Bible? Did Jesus check it out for any editing? Then why everyone is believing in the book that is not even written by Jesus himself?

Maybe because instead of wasting his time writing a book, he was out preaching, curing people and saving lives.
If you don't believe, u can find any little detail to ridiculise our religion. It's not that hard.
I don't understand why some people hate christianism, i mean what is wrong with the original true message to love one another.
If people throughout history used this religion to do bad things ( and continue to) that doesn't make the original message bad , it makes those particular people bad.

Maybe just like Socrates(469-399BC), both are suffused with wisdom but wrote nothing.
It is said that in China there was a Female King, named Wu Zetian, in Tang Dynasty. After her death, by her order, nothing was written on her tombstone. That means: let the offspring free to talk and think.
I guess, God have the same intention: write nothing, leave all for us to write and savor.
