Oh Hun. I am sorry. I have been there. Does he know that you like him? If not than i am sure that he does not mean to hurt you. He is just doing what best friends do. However if he knows and still does it, than he is no best friend. Maybe you can share how you feel and see how he reacts. If he does not like you, than tell him to please stop talking about her around you. Than go and met someone who will like you back. trust me you will find someone. You cant really do anything to take away the heartache, but being around friends and family who support you is very helpful. I wish i could take that pain away for you. i know how much it does hurt. trust me Hun, no matter what, you will be fine.

Two ways you can go @ this.. 1. Tell h im you like him. I personally think going out with a good friend is healthy and fun. You alreayd know what eachother like, and can obviously have fun together, just make sure if you did ever get together, you would talk about what would happen with you guys if you split. If he likes you as a best friend, there must be something about you he likes.! 2. See what happens between them and you act like you are talking to someone new. You rub it in his face about this new amazing guy you met..... see how he likes it!

All you have to do is try to find something that you like about this girl. Don'tshow that you like him. IF he doesn't like you back, that will be a bigger heartache than before, and it can ruin your relationship

Being your best friend, it's inevitable that he would tell you about any significant other. I'm not so sure that you can stop his talking about her, but instead be happy for him. Be patient, your time with him will come eventually.

Find out what really turns him on. Perhaps he has a fetish of some sort. Everything has something like that. Use it to lure him away from her.

JUST TELL THE PERSON. HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT THEM
IT MAY BE HARD TO DO SINCE THEY LIKE SOMEONE ELSE
BUT THEN THEY WILL KNOW HOW YOU FEEL THEN THEY
WILL UNDERSTAND AND STOP TALKING ABOUT THE OTHER
PERSON.. IF YOU CANT TELL THEM THAT, THEN JUST
TELL THEM THAT YOU UNDERSTAND THEY LIKE THIS
