Some of these answers make a very good point... when Jesus was crucified, he didn't lift a finger to save himself.
Perhaps we should re-define the word "powerful".
Is more power involved in raising the dead, ...or killing people?
I would say the former. Jesus wins, by choosing not to fight.

Its an interesting question. I just watched the Star Wars movies and thought there was many great teachings from the Jedi that mirror that of Jesus. I think the "force" is all that is positive, light, and love. So I believe Jesus would use the force against the dark side!

Jesus doesn't do tricks, He does truth. Yes, He is more powerful than a Jedi.

The Jedi meditate to achieve one-ness with the Force, or the ultimate power in the Universe.
Jesus, God the Son, IS at one with the ultimate power in the universe...God.
Thus, Jesus would be the GrandMaster Jedi.

Nowhere does it say that Jesus can do backflips and/or twirl a lightsaber with deadly accuracy.
Therefore, he would be outmatched, as we have video proof that Yoda can do both of these things, and more.
And if it's on video, it must be true. (Kind of like the way people believe anything that's written in that old Roman mythology book... what's it called? Oh yes... the bible)
Edit- to the guy above... quite a few Jedi come back to life... :)

Since God is the father, son, and Holy Spirit, a Jedi would not be more powerful. He knows what life holds in the future and would know that Jedi before he was even born. God is all powerful.
