They say the Devil listens in. If that doesn't give you the heebie-jeebies, nothing will. Do not doubt it; signs of weakness, fear, uncertainty are the Devil's doorway.
On the other hand, resolve any heavy issues you have going on in your daily life. Oftentimes, they dominate dreams regardless of prayer. Your subconscious is a heavy hitter; you can BS the world but your soul KNOWS the truth.

Your dreams has nothing to do with God. You may be having some problems or under stressed and it manifested in your dreams. There are problems we do not face in our conscious state but haunt us when we are asleep. Something could be troubling you.
l hope l'm wrong. Do deep breathings before going to bed. Continue the prayers. He is listening. God bless.

Because you fear peace. Your nature tells you that God is perfect love, but your teaching tells you God holds "love" in one hand, and punishment in the other. This dichotomy causes confusion, and fear. You are disheartened. Your Father loves you with love that has no opposite, and cannot be compared to anything. There is nothing to fear. Meditate on that...read the Psalms...seek and find all things that mean peace to you...then ask. Don't stop asking until you receive. And you will receive.

I'd say because you are worried about having nightmares. If you're thinking about nightmares right before you go to bed, it's on your mind so you're probably giving yourself bad dreams.
Make yourself a dream catcher and hang it above your bed.

Well if its not in God's plan, then your wish isn't coming true. So try not to bother him with prayers. I heard that Satan will always lend an attentive ear though.

I don't know. Sometimes God says no. Only he can tell you why he is not granting you peaceful dreams.

Ask JESUS to help you, GOD said that if you want anything ask it in his Son's name, and the devil and whatever other demonic entities will surely flee, they have no Dominion over him, have patience he will never leave you to battle anything alone, maybe he is testing your faith and patience, we all get tested in different ways!!!
MAY GOD CONTINUE TO WATCH AND BLESS YOU!!!!
