i currently feed her Beneful (by Purina) Oringinal. She kind of has weight issues, so weight control may not be a bad idea.

Benepuke is one of the worst dog foods out there IMO...feeding your dog the bag would be better than feeding the junk inside it. If you want a quality dog kibble try something live canadae or evo.

Isn't it a bit late to wonder what to feed her? My Vet said Beneful is bad, do not buy it.
I agree with the first answer (I can't remember his name)You must be feeding her something besides dog food if she has a weight problem. I am not faulting you. I have two dogs and they refuse any hard food now. It has come out of a can or off the table. What I can I do? I have to do what they tell me, they are the boss of me.

I feed my dogs Royal Caanin: Natures Choice, very good food and if you save 10 skews/proof of purchase and send it in you get a $20 coupon for you next bag of food.

I feed my minature dashound pedigree and she is 1 and 1/2 years old she does fine with it. There is Science Diet that might be good with weight.

I firmly believe that Royal Canine it the best out there and it is breed specific. THey actually make a breed specific dog food for dachsunds.

Check out drsfostersmith.com they have a lot of healthy dog foods and treats. Many other pet supplies too and prices are not bad.

she doesn't have "weight issues" from dog food, its the other stuff you're giving her. all the snacks and table food shes been getting. don't lie...you know you do it. well stop it. the beneful is fine.

best best ever...NUTRO'S lamb and rice ... causes less off season shedding and shiny coat and will help control weight..
