Lately I've had a very hard time realizing what's going on. I'll be in class and get completely confused because it almost feels like i'm watching class from underwater. I've been hearing voices calling my name for the past two days, althought it's not the first time i've heard voices calling me. I've been diagnosed with OCD and Depression, I have crying spells almost every night, and occasionally, with friends, I will have laughing fits. I'm leading myself to believe I'm going insane, but I'm not planning on telling my therapist because I'm afraid she won't believe me, and I'll be humiliated. Does anyone know what this could be, and what should I do?
And yes, I have a family history of mental health problems.
and DON'T call me psycho!

I feel that way sometimes too.
Since you are so young, and you already have been diagnosed with other things, I really suggest telling your therapist. She'll believe you. And if you dont feel comfortable with your therapist, ask your parents to help you find a new one. She's supposed to be there for YOU. I had about 5 therapists before I found one I was comfortable with.
It could be the medicine you are on for the OCD and depression, or it could be another symptom. Tell your psychiatrist too, if you go to one.

Don't panic, you could just be experience physical symptoms due to stress in your life, even if you don't know why you're stressed.
In fact, when some people are subject to stress for long period of time, especially if it disrupts thier sleep, they may develop seizures, which could explain some of your symptoms.
If you are clinically depressed, that is depressed for no apparent reason, you should speak with a psychiatrist who can get you on some medication which may help you. If you are worried about speaking to your therapist about your problems then maybe you should find a new therapist. You should not be seeing a therapist who you are not comfortable confiding in.

You're definitely not psycho. :) Everyone mistakenly hears their name being called from time to time, and everyone gets confused in class. (I definitely do all the time!) However, if it doesn't feel right to you, and it's bothering you, than it's worth bringing up. You should be able to trust your therapist, and not worry that she won't believe you or will humiliate you. I do think she will be able to listen to you with empathy, and if you tell her how you're feeling, I think she'll take your concerns seriously. If your therapist is new, you might just need a few more sessions to feel that you can trust her. If you've been with her a long time and you still don't feel like you can trust her, it's okay to find a therapist you can trust. In any case, please don't hesitate to bring your concerns up with someone you do trust and get the help you need to feel better.
Hang in there!

Don't be afraid to tell your therapist...why would she not believe you...she is a professional and will and should listen to any and all of your concerns...be honest with her, it will be the only way she can help you. If you are on medication, you must be seeing a psychiatrist or your medical doctor...sometimes the medication will have side effects that you are not aware of...so speak honestly to your doc and you will have better luck in discovering what is up with you...no you are not a psycho... you are just a little unwell...good luck, hope this helps you...and don't be scared to be honest with doc okay? best of luck....
