Okay, let's say I have a friend named, uh. . ."Not Casey" who was at a party this weekend with a guy she really likes. Well, Not Casey got pretty smashed because the bartender apparently didn't know that you're supposed to put margarita mix in margaritas. When Not Casey gets that drunk, she tends to be loud, obnoxious, and generally unattractive.

She hasn't gotten any calls from the guy since then. Nothing interesting happened, no sex or groping. . .but she is afraid she may have made a huge a** out of herself. But the thing is, she doesn't KNOW if she made an a** out of herself or not! she really likes this guy and doesn't want to mess things up. Should I--er, she--email this guy and say, "Hey, I may have acted like the stereotypical drunken bar fly on Friday. I'm sorry. Please still think I'm cute and adorable. I don't usually get that wasted," or will it seem sort of weird?

Seems like a ridiculous question for a 25 year old to ask, but I just got out of a four year relationship a few months ago. Therefore, I have the dating experience of someone years younger than me. Heck, I'm just practically out of the "omg boys have cooties!" stage, so have some pity and give me some advice, please.:)

Well first of all your friend Casey should understand that a properly made Margarita is not made with a mix and is 4/5 ths Tequila (one of the most potent alcohol products on the market), 1/10 lime Juice, and 1/10 Triple Sec. I had a friend pass out on it one time and all he could do was lie there, but was still conscious enough to pick his nose and eat it.

Don't say you may have acted like... You know you acted like a drunken idiot so ask him to coffee and apologize profusely for acting that way. Leave it at that and see if he asks you out.

OK Casey! listen to me, I am the queen of charm. Don't freak out. 1st off, whenever you go out, always go with a buddy so if "they" can't stop you from acting like and idiot, at least they can tell you what you did the next day. 2. don't ever get that waisted again...remember, if it's liquor, it takes a while, then it hits you!! 3. I would play it cool to this guy I really liked. sometimes ignorance is bliss. Just ask the guy if he would like to go again this weekend. (in an email if you like). Don't mention anything about the other night unless he brings it up. If he does just say something like, "yeah, that totally isn't me, I was working on an empty stomach, but I promise we will have fun this weekend."

The fact "not Casey" has to call and apologize for a blackout is a stunningly clear message that "not Casey" might want to take alcohol out of the mix. Marijuana would be an excellant alternative. Oh, and make that call. It's always better to regret the things you've done than the things you didn't do.

by the was... yeah he, ahh umm called me and umm told me that he ahh changed his email, yeah thats right he changed his e-mail to zerohourwriter@yahoo.com. he said that he wants any pictures of you and ummm a list of the things you like in guys and ahhh also whatever you like to do on weekends. (that doesn't include margaritas) so you know i think you should e-mail that to me-err him asap. remember he changed his e-mail through so... the other one is no good. you can just go ahead a throw it away causes ahh it's no good and it might give your cpu a virus or something

Somethings we do determine what we are...sorry but that is how we all are.

You meant well but you were out of control. Lesson learnt, avoid margaritas and anything else alcoholic, it may be best for you. Someone may just take advantage of your "blowing"away.
Secondly, self control, if you must, take half glass, and then entertain yourself with juices, you can never be out of control on this.

To your question, girl, men are out off by such girls, that is the truth, BUT, he will come back. trust me. Only that this time if he does, they story may be different and it will be your turn ti evaluate and ask is this what I want of a friend.
Watch!

The e-mail seems a little desperate, but a little funny. Tweak it a little.
Oh ya, and Alcohol = Bad. Stuff like this always happens when you're drunk, so knock it off or give up.

Do what will make you feel better, regardless of his response. It sounds like you really want to email him, at least for some clarification or closure to follow his distant behavior. It might help you sleep better at night....

...even better, he might be relieved to know this wasn't a typical Sat. night for you and just a one time thing...overly drunk people can be very scary and not attractive. If you come clean and you're honest and sincere about it, you'll be fine.

Good luck!

i think you just answered your own question. Just be sincere. I think you should have as much fun as possible and enjoy the single life for a while. If he doesn't understand then move on to the next party and try not to drink so much. You'll be fine!!!!!!!!
