It's a really weird situation, my friend and I got drunk and high last week and hooked up. He's one of my best friends, and I don't like him like a boyfriend or whatever. I'm really worried that its going to be awkward between us now. What should I say to him to make sure he knows that I don't like him like that, and that I want things to be normal with us?

...we definitely both remember. When we woke up the next morning, it was kinda weird. but not completely because there were other friends there that i was visiting him at his school with. and we couldn't exactly be awkward around them , because no one knows anything.

getting drunk and high were not the only reasons...that makes it sound really bad.

i know that i need to just tell him that it didn't mean anything, it was just a random hookup. but we don't go to the same college, and we never see eachother except for once in a blue moon when one of us can visit eachother. so i have to tell him all this not in person, and that kills me. i never know what to say..i need advice on what to ACTUALLY say....please help :-(

Don't worry if you play it off I'm sure you can move on. But you may want to put humor in it if you decide to talk to him about it. Let him know you didn't take it seriously, because he's probably thinking the way you are.

Don't bother. Just act the same and he will know, if he doesn't, not a problem. You are in control of what you do and don't do so flow along and enjoy your life as usual.

So your saying the only reason you hooked up was because of alcohol and weed?? so does that mean everytime you drink and smoke weed you hook up with anyone?? it shouldnt be an excuse...

I doubt it will ever be the same between the two of you again, but just be yourself and treat him as you want to be treated and it will blow over.

Just tell him the truth now before it gets any deeper.

Tell him the truth....that you didn't intend for that to happen, and you just want to go back to being friends....

ALL YOU CAN DO IS TALK TO HIM ABOUT HOW YOU FEEL
ABOUT WHAT HAPPEN. AND GO FROM THERE. BUT MAYBE
YOU NEE TO STOP DRINKING OTHER WISE YOU CAN GET
ANY MORE TROUBLE. BUT IF HE REALLY IS A GOOD FRIEND
THEN HE WILL UNDERSTAND.
