They may be but why not talk to them and deal with this addiction. I really think that if this is all that you do at twenty one you should probably get some help. The problem with a true addiciton is that it interferes negatively with all aspects of our lives and one is not able to mature and grow and they should be doing. So maybe your parents threats are what will motivate you to deal with this disease.

How to avoid porn addiction on the Internet
1. Consider installing porn content filtering software( Strongly Recommend NetDog ,you can get it from www.netdogsoft.com ) on your computer. it will help to protect you from stumbling into pornography by accident, That's important.
2. Do not try to guess what the address of a Web page is. Many pornographic sites have similar addresses of respectable sites. For example www . whitehouse . com is a porn site. The real address is www. whitehouse . gov
3. Never click on Web site addresses that you receive in an unsolicited email.
4. Do not open attachments that come in email that are unsolicited.
5. Use filtered search engines or reputable directories to find the information you need.
6. Do not search for terms like girls. Think before you enter a search term.
Stick with reputable sites.
If something looks questionable, don't let curiosity get the best of you. Delete it or close the window.

Probably a little of both. First, you're 21. You need to start working on getting out of the house. 3 years past when you could have moved out, it's time to start thinking about making your own life.
Second, you know you have a porn addiction. Don't put this on your parents. Go to counseling. Porn addiction is rampant in society today, thanks to the internet. You're not alone, and there IS help out there. If you can search the net for porn, you can search the net for porn addiction and find a place to get help.
It sounds harsh, but you're 21, and this is YOUR responsibility. Period.

What do you mean by 'porn addiction'??
1) Did you have 12,000 porno mags, 5,000 XXX DVD's and 10,000 porno websites bookmarked on your computer??
2) Or do you just have a couple dozen magazines, a few porno DVD's and maybe a couple dozen porno sites bookmarked?
You might be a porno addict if you had porn collection # 1
But if you had porn collection # 2, you're just a typical male with a healty interest in sex
Now, I'd bet it's your MOM that freaked out - more likely than not, your dad has a bigger porno collection than you do (but, since he's older, he's a lot smarter about hiding it than you are)
That is still a dumb reason to kick you out of the house.. most guys look at porno (and if every young man with a porno collection got kicked out of their home, every teenage boy in America would be homeless!!!)

If you have a porn addiction you need to get help - just like you would if it was any other kind of addiction. If it hasn't hurt you already, it will.
Are they using the porn to kick you out? I don't know because I don't know about the rest of the dynamics at your house and what your life is like. 21 and still living with your parents is getting pretty old.
If your parents kick you out, please do not interpret that to mean that they don't love you. Sometimes parents just don't know what to do.
If you were your parent, what would you think? What would you want for your 21-year old son who you love?

1st. Tell your girlfriend. If its an addiction(most likely is) and you honestly want to fix it then she should be understanding and want to help you. She might seem disgusted at first but just describe your situation and tell her you need her to understand.
IF you want your parents to be more understanding of your problem then youll have to sit down with them and talk to them. THis might seem awkward, but, thats the only way to possibly get them to know what your going through.
There is actually an organization similar to alcoholics anonymous except its called sexaholics or something like that. There are more people addicted to sex than alcohol in the US. Your definatly not alone.
Just like at AA, it is best to give up porn all together then to just use it sparingly. For my bf, he made a pledge that he would not look at porn again, but, if he did, he would tell me. In the next few monthes he told me twice that he looked up porn. At first I got mad at him, then I realized that he needed me to be understanding. The second time I he apologized and I accepted it. In the last two years he has not looked at porn and feels so much better about himself.
You'll feel like a better person when you stop looking at such repulsive stuff. Rember that porn is degrading for men and women alike.

It's time to go. When you have your own place you can do whatever you want. It's their perogative. If they don't want porn in their house & it's time to get rid of the source I guess the choices are simple. You put them in that position so you got only yourself to blame. Are they using it as an excuse to kick you out? Probably not. Maybe it's just the time one way or another.

Sounds like other stuff is going on and the porn just made it too much.
If you can find your own place or get a roommate. Maybe for you it's time to move out.
