i have been dating this guy for about a week and its still pretty awkward when we hang out, so how do i get things going?

why still awkward??? --- hold hands --- talk more --- hug -- kiss cheek ---- have a water fight --- do something silly together

This calls for a giant ice-breaker. Do something really fun and active with him (no not that : )) something like paintball or go cart racing, something silly, get messy. You will see each other in a different light. There will be a sense of competition and playfullness Which could speak volumes about where you stand with each other and how you feel. All in good fun though because the children in you will come out and children are not really inhibited by much. It will also give you fun memories and something to talk about in future dates. If that doesn't work.....TEQUILA!!!
