You should feel bad. You should turn yourself in to the police.
You are an abuser, and you will do it again if she is stupid enough to stay with you. Your dad hit your mom, didn't he? You grew up thinking that was an acceptable outcome when you got angry. Did your dad also apologize to your mom to make it all better?
Well, asshat, it won't get better. You are sick, and you need a lifetime of therapy. You'll hit her again and again as long as she is willing to put up with it. Chances are you chose her because you saw in her someone who would take abuse. You are probably doing a lot more to her than just punching her.
Do you limit her activities and her choices?
Do you tell her she can't do things like go out with her friends or see her family?
Do you make all the decisions in the relationship?
Do you threaten her with harm or with leaving her?
Do you belittle her for having her own ideas or doing things a certain way?
Do you accuse others of 'putting ideas in her head?'
If you answer yes to even one of these, you've just verified what virtually every single intelligent person who reads it knows about you that you aren't smart enough to figure out on your own. Someday you might beat a woman severely enough you mail or kill her. And you won't understand what happened, because you are too stupid.
Jump off a bridge and save the world a pathetic excuse for a man who'll continue to beat up on women and probably his own kids too. Oh, and don't reproduce. The world doesn't need more children suffering because an asshat like you has sperm to throw around.
I hear the Golden Gate Bridge is a nice jumping-off point.

You have issues and I hope someone twice your size does that same thing to you. Hit a wall or throw something but don't ever touch another human again. I hope she files a police report on you, if she doesn't your making her a victim of a violent crime.
