This is not trying to be a promo, but I have really changed my life with Gilad. He's a workout instructor who has shows on FitTV, but also has the Quick Fit System. It's affordable, QUICK, and effective. It also comes with an "Eat Right Now!" plan about which foods are the best for you to eat. I was 162 in July and now I am 142. My biggest tips:
Get up a half hour early and do some cardio exercises, either with a video or just get up and move your body around. Eat something little too. I drink Carnation breakfast drinks and they keep me full for at least 2 hours.
Only eat at certain times of the day. I have a breakfast drink, eat a big lunch 3 or 4 hours later, and have a smaller dinner. I allow myself to snack on fruits in between when I am hungry. Of course we are all human and I munch on bad things now and then, but not a lot.
Don't eat after 7 or 8 pm if you can help it. Your body isn't as active in the evening.
I'm 21 and I live at home with my mom and am a waitress. I buy all my own food though - my favorites are any fruit, LEAN POCKETS, Lean Cuisine! They rock. I definitely don't have a lot of money but I stretch it. No diets are going to work for you - you just have to use your common sense :)

Hey, listen I WAS also (really) fat. I tried laying off the fatty kinds of food and tried eating less. But about a month later I realized that I had lost 1 kilogram. At the cost, I could not wake up early in the morning, nor could I stay up for long. I had become really really weak. So dont try eating less. I'll say try playing football, with your kids. Or go cycling. These two are THE most effective ways to lose weight.

I have answered this question a 1000 times both here and before and it never ceases to amaze me that people really just don't know how to be or remain healthy. It all comes down to one thing and one thing only..... Habits. It takes 21 days for an adult to accept and begin a new habit....it takes nine days for the average adult to drop a bad habit... The days 9 thru 21 are the most crucial and that is where education comes into play. You first need to throw everything in your cup boards & refridgerator away. And I mean AWAY. Then remember these things: carbs before and not after 2pm... protein after 2pm and do not eat four hours or before going to bed. Drink at least 72-100 ounces of water daily. When a person works out they start burning fat at 20 minutes....You do have time to take power walks 40 minutes a day and don't even try to tell me you don't. That's your first mistake is you keep lying to yourself because you're sabotaging your own life because you have low self esteem.... STOP IT NOW!! My sister is a psychologist, teaches as well, has three children/a husband and runs marathons/triathalons so please do not tell me you're unable to scratch up the time. Another really really good thing you can do for yourself is throw away your television....it is the worst and most unhealthy thing existing in our lives today. Surround yourself with magazines and books having to do with exercise and reality. Tear out a pic of a thin woman that you want to look like and tape INSIDE of the refridgerator. Exercise & eating right are the ONLY ways to lose weight.....No diets or pills!! Good Luck! (email me if you need help)

You really have to motivate your self and just get off your butt and do it, it sucked after both my kids, but i really stuck with it, and lost all the weight, and i just generally felt better and more energetic and sexy when i exercised everyday, i actually became addicted and loved the me time. It just takes time, and remember it sucks it sucks it sucks,, but be patient and good things will come. Also try writing down the calories of what you are eating and keep it on the fridge, and onc you reach 2000, well then your done! and if you go to bed hunfry, you will eventually learn how to get the most out of your food, and eat at the right times to not be hungry... plus your stomach will shrink and you wont need as much.. but trust me , i know how much it sucks, im italian, and love food. GOOD LUCK... be a hot mommy.

I am in the same situation, except that i am back at my pregnancy weight, i am 25, and i had twins. have tried everything. the only things that have seemed to help a little are as follows:
stock up on fresh fruits & vegetables. they are great to snack on.
eat lots of high protien foods, for example-salmon which is easier to eat & tastes better smoked
eat your meals off of smaller plates & don't go back for seconds
limit sugar-snack on fresh fruits & switch to splenda
little bursts of excersize really help-like take stairs instead of elevators, sit up str8 & suck your tummy in-fit in a little bit of execise whenever u can
and my last piece of advice is, get a bottle of Hoodia. i have tried a lot of diet pills-and they don't work-Hoodia actually supresses aappetite pretty well.
i know it's hard-i love food too! but i have a 5 year old pair of size 5 jeans that i would looove to be able to wear again! Good luck! oh and ps. . . drink lots & lots of water!

I just got a stomach virus and lost some weight. Basically, I stopped eating. That's the cheapest way I can think of too.

ADKINS.......read the book, follow it to the letter, vitamins are very important. don't let anyone tell you it doesn't work, because if you follow it you WILL lose weight,my wife has lost 185 lbs on this diet and it is easy to check if it is working, buy keto strips and run it through your urine,it will tell you if you are in ketosis(spelling) but it means burning fat.
