Is it so hard for a guy to just be honest? Why do they have to lie so much, even about the little things??

They don't all lie. There are lots of guys who are honest.
Just me, but I figure if it's a little thing, then there's no point in lying about it unless the liar is looking for control, amusement, self-aggrandizement, or is just a compulsive liar. If it's any of those things, how does anyone possibly trust him? Without trust what kind of real relationship can you have? Not much of one, for sure.
If it's a big thing he's lying about, the fact that it's a big thing is all the more reason to tell the truth!
The issue is much deeper than lying and it's not something you can fix.
There ARE guys out there who are honest. As long as women continue to date liars, they'll continue to lie.

Probably for the same reasons that girls and women lie so much. They want something that they think you won't give if you knew the truth. Or they are afraid that you will take something away (possibly yourself), if you knew the truth.

I hear you!! That is my problem too. The smaller the lie the worse it is. One guy lied about playing video games at my house and I just went out with a guy 1 time and we made plans to go out again -until his live in girlfriend called me to let me know he wasn't available. Jerks!!

Well if it does really involve me i deserve to know the real truth and all of it. And if this guy does lie to me about that he will get slapped to bright red pain. What a Jerk he really is. That ain't funny REALLY because i enjoy life to the fullest when i know all the truth involving me.
NOTE: No wonder why i don't really have a boyfriend now because they really make trouble for me. Well they can all suffer REALLY because i don't really care about them.

I am not sure, but I think you are brushing with such a broad stoke. Not all guys lie, maybe just the ones you have chosen to become involved with.

i dont think thats with all guys.maybe im just a nice guy and i know mad guys that dont lie and stuff..i honestly think woman lies too.

Because women are so dang perfect and so dang amazing, we want them to like us. More insecurities = more lies.
In other cases, unfortunately, shaming the male population of the entire world, guys lie for sex, blatently.

what happened to you? and not all guys lie for bad reasons. sometimes they lie because they think its for a good reason but might end up tellin you later because of guilt. i dunno thats what i think. dont judge all guys just cuz one or two or three or many have fcuked up PLUS we lie too sometimes

guys dont think into things too much like women do. when guys tell little lies, its cos they dont want to make you think too much or get angry at something they have done.

They have no respect.
They are cowardly.
No sense of decency.
No sense of integrity.
