Even if the grandparents and the mother don't get along, the grandparents are an important part of your childrens lives. They can learn so much from their grandparents, as long as they don't bash their Mom there's no harm in letting them be a part of their lives.

I think grandparents play a very important role. Of course they are always nosey and telling you how to take care of your children even if it is out dated info. They mean well.
I tend to be tolerant of my own parents, but I think I would have a hard time dealing with in-laws telling me what to do especially if they don't like you. Luckily mine are in another state.
Still remember that even if they don't like you, they will always love their grandchildren and you can never have too many family members who love your children. Remeber that some kids don't have a mom or dad let alone two sets of grandparents.

I think it depends on the circumstances. Yes grandparents can be great, but if there is just too much drama between the two, then guess what, grandparents have no rights to there grandchildren. it's sad but true.

to know and have the love of their grandparents .
Nothing in the world could keep me away from any of mine .

Sounds like it would be a tough situation for all involved but who is it hurting more, the kids. So people need to put their drama aside and be there for the grandkids. Plain and simple, the kids are more important than drama, leave attitudes at the door.
