Perhaps you should have a medical checkup to disclose if there are any concerns there.
Also - if are a diet cola drinker - stop! Findings show there have been reports of memory loss due to consumption of diet drinks and their elements.
Go for time period with no consumption - if see improvement - there is your answer.

I am 36 and having the same exact problem! I thought OMG! I have my grams alzheimers! I started on A.D.D. med hoping it would also help my memory.....not so far. I was just saying 2night- it's strange but I can remember things from my son being a baby (he's 13) and I can't hardly remember anything from my 9 yr olds. My job was in trouble cuz I cook in a restaruant and I stand right there and read the orders and as soon as I take my eyes off, I forget what I read so I go back. (that is a symptom of A.A.D too) It makes u feel dumb right? u gotta say sorry..but I forgot what u told me to do. DUUU!! U may wanna look into attention defecit dissorder. Good Luck!

First, carry a little notepad with you and write things down when they are important that you remember them.
Second, you need to make sure there is nothing physically wrong with you, so write down what you're concerned about and go see your doctor.
Third, relax. Stress causes us to forget things, especially things that just happened that we don't focus on.
Fourth, read books. Yes, that's what I said. When we read (I don't mean online, I mean printed words) we have to concentrate and focus on the book. And that is like working a muscle to make it stronger. Its not that you can't remember, its that you can't find the information in your head. So reading sort of exercises the brain to make it stronger and more effective.
The stuff the doctor mentioned is Gingko Biloba, its an herb that has some effect on improving memory. Ginseng can also help, as well as a healthy diet. Junk food, alcohol, sodas, and coffee can all affect your body's ability to function (including the brain).
Lastly, take your time with things and tell yourself "I will remember this".

Ginko may help as far as memory, but really just start writing yourself notes.
Just a guess, because I think I do this sometimes also, I think you just may not be paying too much attention to whats going on. Someone wants you to run and tell them so and so is on the line, it would take what? and extra 3 seconds to write "so and so on line 3 for dr. x"
plus the more notes you take, you'll find your attention span a little stronger, because your forcing yourself to pay attention.

huh? oh yea me to? I was just teling someone the other day how i cannot remember anything. I think it has to do with the fact that i have 3 kids involved in so much stuff. I forget everything like dr. appt's and practice schedules. Its Ginko Biloba. Good luck.

first of all, these are examples of short term memory loss. this is normal. we dont tend to keep this sort of stuff stored in our brains.
i suggest keeping a pad and pen with you, esp. in the office. i always write these things down, because in a few minutes i will forget details. this will make you more responsible in getting simple tasks done right, and your boss will appreciate that. you dont want to ask someone the same thing over and over and appear inadequate. i didnt think i needed to write down anything at first, but now im glad i do. in case i forget something i can always look back at my notes. trust me on this one.

not so sure but cleansing diet might help you .memory loss is cause by the general anesthesia injected in the human body before performing any major operations.it is the damage done to the body and the nerves.a bio cosmic energy from alkaline natural water might restore the normal function of the body vessels and nerves!

sound like maybe you've got tooooo much on your mind.. are you taking any medications that could be causing you to lose your focus? Take a deep breath, repeat the docs instructions to yourself and write notes if you need to.. get lots of sleep at night.
