Go buy vitamin E in the gelatin capsules. Cut open a capsule and spread the vitamin E on your burns. Use enough capsules to cover the burns.

Don't buy a vitamin E ointment as that's diluted and not 100% vitamin E. Don't buy aloe vera even though a lot of people will recommend it. It doesn't work as well as vitamin E.

Hospitals use vitamin E on 3rd degree burn victims. It will completely take the pain away from a bacon oil spatter. It will relieve the pain of a very bad sunburn (as in so bad you wouldn't walk the next day).

Please listen to me. I know what I'm talking about in this case. Vitamin E is the way to go. It will relieve some to all of the pain when applied to the skin. The burn will heal sooner and your skin will be better. It works well on surgical cuts also as it helps keeps the scarring to a minimum.

I got a nasty rope burn a few months ago; mine was an open burn wound. What I did was to gently clean it and apply Neosporin three times a day. Do not use hydrogen peroxide or alcohol to clean it. I also found that keeping it bandaged helped to reduce the pain. It will probably stop hurting after a week or so. I suggest keeping it bandaged until the scab starts to form although you may want to keep the bandage off for a little while each day so the skin can "breathe". And make sure you don't pick at it or it will leave a very ugly scar and the skin will be slightly sensitive there for months, maybe longer. As long as you keep it clean and don't pick, you should be fine.

Numb it. WTF! Stupid azz coach, man he's such a cheese head. Nacho macho smacho 4 nothing. haha Anyway, how soon are you wrestling? Hope it heals in time. Run cold water on it for a while. Vitamin E ointment is fantastic for burns. And make sure to cover your burns (wrap your hands in a bandage) before your game to avoid further injury and speed up the healing process. I also use cocoa butter for burns to speed up the healing and avoid scarring, however, cocoa butter is butter...
