I have a bit of a dilemma. My cousin who is 17 (I'm 22), is like a sister to me, were really good friends. The other day me and her were at her sister's house, she came out of the bathroom; I went by the bathroom and could smell the cigarette smoke roll out. Most of the people I know smoke, including all but two of my older cousins, I have never tried it and never will, theirs a surgeon general warning on the label for a reason. So what do I do, do I tell her mother, her sister, my mom, do I ignore it all together, do I confront her about it. I'm sorta shocked but not really surprised she started smoking, her parents especially her dad, is really hard on her, I also think she has low self-esteem. Her sister smokes, and several of her friends, she's told me on several occasions in the past that she would never smoke. I love her so much; I'm really worried about her, she's been very distant and never calls or comes over. I always thought I knew her better than this. : - (

well why dont u sit her down and have a intervention, ask some question and let her know u care about her and u wanna know wats up ,( stay calm and confident) but dont be a NARK , tell her there are better things to deal with stress or wat ever she is going through than smoking . If yall are as tight as u say u are she should come clean and u can work this out. well gtg hope this helped

if you need to tell them some people need to smoke outside and not in the house and it makes people have a hard time with it

She is 17 years old , so I would talk to her not
tell on her . Let her know what you think and
see where to go from there .
