There is a website which provides an obituary service. The search is free but sometimes because the obit is archived there is a small fee from the local newspaper. Check:

I've used this to locate information about patients who might have the same disease as my sons.

u can contact his family member to find out the truth, u can just call his family n say u r an old friend of him, n u were oversea for study or business, that u just comeback , n u wanna contact him , n see hows their answer.

look in the paper in the town where he lived and ask the paper to look back that far in there arcives ... or the courthouse where the deaths are filed under his name in the town he lived in . my opion?
