If a stranger (male) approached you, introduced himself and briefly told you what his purpose in life is and then asked "Are you single?" Would you be offended whenever a man asks that question. Based on my experience, I think it is a great question.

If a man told me his purpose in life, I would think that he was as nutty as a fruit cake and that he thought that he was ultra important. The less a man speaks the more attractive he becomes. Too much information is a let down.

I wouldn't be offended, but it might make me nervous. It's sort of aggressive for a stranger to tell you his purpose in life, and then ask you a personal question. It definitely wouldn't turn me on, that's for sure.

I wouldn't be offended but I would think the guy was a bit of a creep. Because someone who doesn't even know anything about , hits on you, you would think the guy was a bit of a creep. And frankly it is the girls choice on whether or not you should know.

I wouldn't be offended but whether I'd be put off by it would depend on who the guy was. Like if it were to be an older male who seemed extremely suspicious...I'd be put off...and probably lie and say I'm taken.

I wouldn't be offended if a guy asked that question. It would save me the embarrassment of assuming that he is interested, and just blurting out, "I'm single", or "I'm taken."

I wouldn't be offended. I'd think he'd be a little weird that he was so forward...... but other than that I think it's better to know than not knowing at all! I don't think many people like to bark up the wrong tree.....

He just wants to know if you are single. Its not like anyone is getting hurt in any way. Its a great question; it removes all doubt of playing games.

I wouldn't be offended but I wouldn't give the guy my time of day. I've had this happen to me a few times.
