Okay, this is probably me just whining because I've had two confusing situations with two different guys in the past four months.
But, when it comes to love, what do you think keeps up from just stopping and deciding to live alone? What if there ISN'T anyone out there? What a disappointment it would be to find that it all was just wasted time.
Anyone have any thoughts on what makes it worth it?

There was a time where YES I did give up on love, I dated men and never took them seriously I cheated, partied. And then one day of all placed online I met my now husband. He was from CHICAGO, and we spoke online for about 6 months. I never belived him nor took him seriously after all I'd never met him until the day he showed up on my front door. WE dated for another 6 months and got married. I am now very very happy. ..THE MORAL of the story..it's okay to give up on love just dont expect love to give up on you!

I did give up. I had decided that I was never gonna find it, so I became quite promiscuous. Guys want sex, right> they don't wanna be tied down> Then out of the blue, I met someone. He was perfect! We've been together 6 years, and have 2 kids & maybe 1 on the way. I have a lot of regret for the way I was b 4 I met him. I've learned that sometimes, love doesn't happen when you want it to. Sometimes it finds you while you're not looking. Granted, we had some rough patches, but we made it through. Don't give up hope honey. Never give up!

Because when it does work out, IT IS THE BEST THING EVER!!!!!!!!! You might find one good relationship out of a lot of crappy ones. Like they say, you have to kiss a lot of frogs.... But the princes are out there, you just have to be patient and you will find one eventually! And it will be worth it and you will be glad you didn't give up. If you are really frustrated maybe just take a break from dating for awhile. There is nothing wrong with taking a break and soon you will feel better again and can jump right back in.

i'm 27 and characteristic not in any respect had a female friend. each and each and every time a sparkling lady comes interior proximity, some guy that only broke up inclusive of his very last female friend will sweep her up, leaving me nonetheless unmarried. it is not honest that they get yet another clone of that, and that i need to proceed on my own. Have i concept about giving up? for sure. I hate it even as human beings say such issues as, "Oh, there is someone for absolutely everyone." you realize, for some human beings that is an extremely severe count number. once you're an adolescent complaining about this, you want to attend till you're in my position, the position you're regularly taking place, have a interest and each and everything, and yet all of it is going nowhere.

Stop trying to make it happen and just let it happen and it will. Also you have to get away from the boys and start hanging out with the men.You sound young and if you are why would you even care about something like that.If you are not that young then you should know better. Stop feeling sorry for yourself. There is someone

I have honestly given up on love, I was married 17 years and screwed it up, and have dated for the past 6 years and do feel like it is all just a waste of time. Being alone isnt so bad, I answer only to my Creator and myself. The lack of relationship crap is also a welcome relief.

Well we don't really have a choice... If love sneaks up on you there's nothing you can do... and it always happens when we least expect it... It's something you can't plan to happen or go to the store and buy... It just unloads on you like a ton of bricks when it hits...

The feeling you have during that one special moment. The moment when nothing seems to matter or exist...the moment when neither of you see anything else but each other's eyes. The moment he tells you that you're his world...and the moment that seems almost to perfect too be reality.....the moment you realize that you've fallen for him. ^-^
