For Christian scholars, revelation ended with the New Testament. Mohamed came quite a while later. So, apart from the fact that he contradicts several important elements of Christianity, he certainly does not qualify as a prophet according to Christianity.

Of course. If Mohammed were a true prophet of the true God, he would have pointed the way to God's son...Jesus...as the only way to salvation. Islam denies that Jesus is God's son, and also denies He died on the cross....therefore Mohammed was a false prophet.

Muslims (claim) are decedents of Ishmael...he is the son of Abraham and Haggar....and God did say he would have his own nation. That is def in the bible...but as to what Christian scholars think about that...I have no idea.
