One that is frozen, is about twenty-three pounds, and one that I intend to defrost or thaw out in the refridgerator. Thanks, any help I would appreciate.

For a 23 pound frozen turkey I recommend a minimum of 3 days in the refrigerator, however last year it took our turkey nearly 4 days because we keep the refrigerator a little colder than most.

Every turkey has instruction to thaw in the frige...and for 23 lbs. that's about 3 days...yes 3 days..otherwise you can't stuff it and it will take 2 x as long to cook.

Why buy frozen, and not fresh?
