No. Have as many cats as your heart desires! Just makes sure she spades or neutres them. Only 1 out of 5 kittens survive, i heard.

Actually, as long as you are up to keeping them groomed, keeping your house clean, providing proper food and the necessary vet care, I don't see anything wrong with it. I have ten cats that I have taken in over the years. The oldest is 21 and the youngest is 2. I have 8 litter boxes with Tidy Cats scoopable and scoop twice a day. I feed them Royal Canin dry food, available at all times and Friskies canned food twice a day. I vacuum every day to keep things tidy. If you came to my house, you would never smell an odor, and you wouldn't have to tell me you were coming first. In addition, we have a house rabbit and I am fostering a litter of three kittens. Everyone is happy and healthy and they go for check ups and shots once a year, and in between, should someone need extra vet attention, they get it.
Of course, my hubby and I are retired, we love the animals, and it gives us great pleasure to have them. We feel privileged to have the honor of caring for these special souls. We also feed a colony of feral cats in our neighborhood.
We could spend our money in other ways, buy I can't think of anything that would make us happier. We genuinely enjoy having the pets and they are more than worth the time and expense. And, the first thing that happens, after shots, is that any cat I take in is spayed or neutered.

With every additional cat, there is about a 10% increase in the chance one or more of them will develop inappropriate urination habits. If she has 7 cats living together happily and no one is peeing outside the litter box, she should count her blessings. She also needs to be able to feed them a high quality food and pay the vet bills for all of them- vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and any illnesses that arise. I have known people who have had a dozen or two cats, and their houses all reeked of cat pee to the point that I wouldn't even borrow a book from them because it smelled like pee, but they didn't seem to realize it. They came to accept cat pee in the bathtub or sink as normal. Yuck!!!

We've had alot of cats at one point and time. The only bad thing is messy litter boxes, and the chance that the cats will reproduce. If the litter box is too full, one or some of the cats will start going elsewhere, starting a trend with the other cats. Our cats did this to the point that we had to pretty much make them outside cats. When my cat had kittens, I let her back in and she had her own litter box and everything...but she still went elsewhere. Its annoying after the frist time.

As long as they are well cared for meaning vet visits and the house isn't smelling of cat urine I would say she just really loves cats.

Yes i think it too many. I'd only get two at the most. but if she loves cats that much, the more power to her.

Depends if she can handle it of not, I know a lady with six and she just can't look after them, her house stinks, but is there all healthy and clean, then its obviously not to much for her

So long as a person can maintain a happy and healthy environment for themselves and the animals, no amount is too much.
