No, I think that guys should make the first move always. It does effect the way we feel about our gf's, because if we make the first move then it tells them that they are really important to us. It shows them how much we love them. It's always a good thing that a guy makes the first move.

Not at all. If nothing else, it is actually a bonus if you made the first move. As a guy, I am usually expected to make the first move. It is rather traditional that men are the ones who are the chasers, persuers and initiators of love, sex and marriages. A lot of guys do not like idea of putting their feelings and hearts on the line when asking a woman out out of fear of rejection. I have always thought that since we are expected to be the persuers, that makes being the guy advantageous because we can pick and choose who we ask out rather than waiting around for someone to get the balls to ask us out.
As far as it effecting the way you feel about a particular woman, I would say that it doesn't. Either I will like her enough to persue a possible relationship or we won't. Just like you do when a random guy ask you out.

No, I don't think it's important for either side to make the first move, but whoever does (usually) makes it much easier for the other party. I would love if girls made the first move, but it's usually not the case, and I end up going around to her friends checking before I make a move.

some times its the only way to get things going so it the guy is smileing at you and thats as far as it get then it woul be important for you to make the first move

Gosh no...but as you can see from many of the posts here..The younger guys are naturally shy and it sure could help many of them if the lady was a bit more forward :-)
It only has negative effects if you do too much of it...then he KNOWS he can have you and the chase dulls. So be forward - but then enjoy the attention :)

the sooner a girl makes a move.. the more feisty she seems and how horny she may be.. and besides to most guys.. it doesnt matter who makes the first move as long as great stuff happens.. and magic is in the air...
