this is a fun way to pick highlight colors, to to a beauty supply store.... they always have samples of the haircolors, take a mirror hold the samples up next to your hair & face, when you find one you like write down the color, or just snag the sample hair.... :)
or if you want to try it out before you actually go through with the highlights, buy some clip in hair ( you can find it online or at beauty supply stores) most celeb chics do this so they don't have to process their hair over & over again
Good luck

Get 3 or 4 different colors of highlights. It is very nice if you do right.

get 3 or 4 different colors of highlights -- this really looks great and more natural than just one color of blonde -- start with a dark natural blonde and then add a lighter shade or two -- best to get done in a salon, but expensive

try light brown
or you can have purple(those in between purple, not too bright, light od too dark) if you have a side parting then maybe you highlight a little part f the longer side. if you have a center parting highlight a little part. purple can only highlight a little part

could be anything, as long as its not any neon color, (it won't mach your hair color) or any dark colors.. but then, i think the color mostly depends on your personality, i mean if i were to get highlights, i would luv blue ones... or dark-but-not-so-dark purple~
