On average hair grows 6 inches per year. There are so many factors that can change the growth and health of that hair.

for most people, 1/2 to 1 inch per month.
shampoos and conditioners can NOT speed up the growth of your hair, so don't believe everything you hear. massaging your head, however, can, if only by a 1/4 inch or so
