In order to locate college scholarships, you should be using a number of sources to locate them. All of them do not cost money to locate them.
First, current high school students can locate at their high school guidance office from local organizations.
Second, the college's financial aid office and its website has a list of private scholarships from companies and organizations. Also, sometimes, a college major website will include college scholarships.
Third, search Google.com and Yahoo.com for scholarships based on race, ethnicity, college major, and religion.
Fourth, your local library has a book with a list of scholarships. There are some scholarships not listed on the web.
Fifth, some companies offer scholarships, and these can be located on their website if they have one. Walmart, Tylenol, and Coca Cola have one for example.
Finally, join several free membership scholarship search websites. Most are updated on a regular basis. Most are have a customized search based on information about you that you imput. The reason why I suggest joining more than one is that one scholarship might be listed on one website but not another. I have provided a list of these websites along with some excellent resource websites regarding college financial aid.
Good luck!

You're going to find some scholarships at fast web.com, but the majority of the scholarships aren't on the net.
1) Your school will have some scholarships, especially the smaller colleges. Ask. Usually if you are involved in a sport or activity in HS, you'll get some scholarships.
2) Go to your library or book store and look at book filled with up to date scholarships. Your school advisor will have some books for you too. You will spend months filling out forms and essays--do it. You never know what you'll find. Millions of dollars of scholarships for unused each year.
