There is no answer to this?

Ok, my friend told me this. Supposidly, there's no answer to it:

There was this girl, and tonight she was going on a date w/ her boyfriend, and he was NEVER late. So, 30 minutes passed, so she got a little worried, and called him. He said "I'll be there in 30 minutes." So, a couple minutes later, her parents left on a date, so she was alone. 30 minutes passed, and he didn't show. She started petting her dog, and she got up and called his cell. There was no answer. So, she sat down and pet her dog more. Then she heard: drip, drip, drip. She went to the downstairs bathroom, looked, but saw no leaks. She sat down and pet her dog some more. Then she heard the dripping louder: drip, drip, drip! She looked in the kitchen, and saw nothing. Now, she frantically pet her dog, and heard it louder than ever: DRIP! DRIP! DRIP! She went in the upstairs bathroom, and saw her dog hanging from the celing.

Questions: Where was her boyfriend, and what was she petting? Best of luck!

Ah, this is from The Big Book of Urban Legends. She was petting the killer, possibly the boyfriend who killed her dog.

The version I have, "The Licked Hand", is the parents go out and leave a little girl home with her dog by her bedside. Rex licks her hand before she goes to sleep. In the middle of the night she wakes to the dripping sound. she says, "Rex, where are you?" Rex licks her hand. She goes back to sleep. Next morning she gets up to find the dog hung in the shower with the message "People can lick, too" scrawled on the bathroom mirror in blood.

This sounds kinda easy and hard.

you could suppose that when she went to look in the kitchen Her dog might have been (magically) disappeared above the celling.

Her boy friend might have been To early And he kept saying thirty minutes because it was thirty minutes earlier then he was supposed to be there,Thus He was To early and probably in his Room watching T.V. or something.

Dog: Girl left room + Dog went up celling some how) +Boyfriend To early(= so much calling).

Boy:in His room or somewhere.



Dripping Sound: Possibly some of these reasons.

1.The sink has been dripping a Little.
2.Maybe a rain drops dripping?
3.It may be all in her mind And she was thinking about dripping sounds.
4.She really had to go to the bathroom And kept thinking about dripping sounds.

her boyfriend said he would be there in 30 minutes. He did not say he would be at her house in 30 minutes. he could have lives in another state and she may have asked are you at the state line and he said he would be there in 30 minutes so it could be her house was another 45 minutes from the state line.
She had two dogs so she was petting the alive dog

Wow.. you are retarded... why would a dog thats hanging be making a dripping sound? And why did she not notice thats she wasnt petting her dog when she got up and checked the kitchen and downstairs and to call her bf? As for what she was petting... to make this a good story I'll say it was my crotch.. and boy was it heavy :)
