like im not sure how to determine it. hes said it to me before, i think. but do you think it means for me to call him in like a month. or something. or should i just wait for him to initiate further contact with me?
i just want other peoples opinions, lol. sorry if this seems like a dumb question.

Well saying that sounds a little cold or formal to me. However, he does live far away right and he was tired? So maybe that was his best goodbye for tonight. Give him the benefit of the doubt. Just call him or whatever in a few days and see how he acts. Then you will know more.

Longingforyourtouch,

This is a cold answer... but I think it is the truth. You said he took a call from another friend while you were talking to him....

He doesn't like you in a way that you would like him to. He put a call from another person in front of you and that is not a good sign.

He is just being nice and isn't serious about you. That means he will always be a BBD guy. He will look for a bigger better deal whenever he is with you. So...

Move on find another guy. Keep in touch with him only if he contacts you... I don't want you to chase this guy... it makes you look desperate.

Otro vez...

My 18 year old son is sitting here, and I asked him your question. He said that it is an indication of friendship -- something you would say to a "buddy" -- not to a girl you're interested in dating. He said the best way to view this is as a friendship -- don't get discouraged if nothing happens because you may miss out on a good friendship. Keep it casual and call him on occasion (not every week) -- guys avoid girls who seem desperate (calling all the time is viewed as desperation). In the meantime, you'll get to know more about him and watch from a distance to see what kind of a guy he is -- and if he takes the time to call you, that's even better.

He was probably nervous. But when my 1st girlfriend told me to keep in touch a couple years ago I didn't know what to do. But her sister called me the same day and said that she was awaiting my call. So I'd say call him the next day. He could waiting for you to call him.

He just wants to be friends and he wants you to be the one to initiate the contact.
