I have been having problems with the mormons yet again.

On Saturday my wife and I were making love when I though I heard the door go. We were expecting a couple we know to arrive. So I went to the door without changing. I had on some rubber bondage gear and rubber restraints on my arms which were very tight (I am not into this stuff, I just do it for the wife).

I was greated by two mormon missionaries, aged about 20, in suits with bibles in hand.

Now My wife and I are tolerant. But as born again christians, my wife and I don´t want to discuss our faith with those from the Church of the Latter Day Saints. We say live and let live, it´s just that it is not our thing.

Those guys just wouldn´t leave. They asked to come in. The one on the left looked at me funny. In the end I had to shut the door on them. I didn´t want to but after fifteen minutes, I was losing the circulation in my arms and could not feel my hands.

Is it me, or are these mormon missionaries too pushy?

I know what you mean. Why just the other day I was in the process of making a burnt offering an ox on the alter that I have erected on my front lawn (To get the Lord to rig the next power ball drawing for me, as per the bible, book of Carbonization, 23-10), when I was accosted by a pair of LDS missionaries. They actually had the audacity to interrupt my opening benediction to ask if I was interested in their religion, and whats more, their caterwauling frightened the ox, who snapped his restraints and bolted, leaving me with a roaring fire, some very sharp knives, and two belligerent missionaries.

As I am sure you can guess, this sort of threw off my rhythm, and basically ruined the sacrifice. Whats more, they refused to buy me another ox to sacrifice in place of the one that they had frightened off.

I just can't understand it. I mean, I let them practice their religion in peace, why can they not extend the same courtesy to me?

Pastor Sauce, I'm surprised at you! Why didn't you just quote them this passage from the Bible and tell them to get lost!

2 John 1:7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist. 8 Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward. 9 Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting, 11 for whoever greets him takes part in his wicked works.

It is a lot more than just not your thing. There is a lot more at stake than that! If you don't want them in your house, you have the right to say that you have your own faith and that this is an inconvenient time to talk. You probably would be right if you had to get out of bed to answer the door!

The have faith that Jesus, The Holy Spirit, and the father are 3 separate beings. they have not got faith that Jesus is God in the experience of the trinity. They reference Jesus as equivalent to Lucifer via asserting they're brothers. in this they're asserting that, if Jesus is eternal in any respect, so is the devil. they suspect God grew to become right into a guy as quickly as and grew to become into in simple terms such as you and had mothers and dads. they suspect that God "created" each little thing purely in the experience of what all of us understand. they suspect that the Bible won't be able to be study without an handbook. ( The e book Of Mormon ) they suspect that Joseph Smith holds the keys to Heaven. they suspect that they are going to improve into Gods sometime, no longer as in possession yet place. they suspect that the husband's will call their better halves out of the grave and that marriage is eternal, even although Jesus taught us that that's barely right here in the international, and in Heaven no person would be taken or given in marriage.

Your question is all right; it's the backstory that threw me. Apparently, you should have used the peep hole before opening the door. If you don't have the peep hole, I'd suggest not opening the door all the way to greet strangers in the dress that you were in.

The missionaries aren't pushy; they always ask politely if they may come in to talk. You can either invite them in or politely ask that they leave.

I wish I had been there to see the looks on their faces. I don't think you did anything wrong. What you and your wife do in your home in your bedroom is noone elses business.
