Do you have any time for yourself?

Get away! Leave the kids with grandma for a day and pamper yourself. Everyone needs a break.

Are there any type of playgroups in your area, where the kids can interact with other kids/babies while the caregivers talk with each other. If there is something like that where you live, you & the kids might join it. By doing this, not only would you get a little time to enjoy adult conversation but the kids would learn about playing with others I know that the baby is still a little young to really play w/others but he would be around other children besides just "Big" brother. The parents/caregivers might even have times where some of them watch the kids while the other adults do something else~movies, shopping, or whatever.
Check into it, if there is one in your area it might help break up the monotany. Hope that this helps you and I sincerely hope that there is something available in your area. Best of luck to all of you. God Bless!

You work 3 days a week for a 4 hour shift?? Are you kidding? I had a 3 year old and a 8 month old. I worked 5 to 6 days a week for 9 hours. Those are your kids. They didn't ask to be brought into this world. You aren't working that many hours. You still have time to play with them. You work 3 out of 7 days. What are you doing on those 4 days you have off? You only work for 4 hours. There are 24 hours in a day. You don't sleep that other 20.

Give the kids up of you can't handle them.

You should find a sitter and join a new mom group. You could also find a hobby or go to the gym a few times a week. I know sitters cost money, but a few bucks every week will BE WORHT your sanity. Hang in there, you should also check with a psycologist and your Docotor too just to make sure that you are not suffering from Depression. Good luck!!! P.S. Don't listen to that "single and sexy" biatch, she obviously needs to walk in some other shoes before she can give her "advice"!!!!

I think every woman goes through this a little, every once in a while. So I would suggest getting away for a day. Go have a manicure and a facial. But if it is more serious you may want to consult a Dr.

mom_single_sexy is obviously single for a reason. Don't listen to her!!

Do not feel bad. We all feel that way. I'm guess you are over stressed. That's when it hits me anyway. I usually drop my son off at my mom's or leave him with hubby. Then, I go out to Borders or Starbucks. Sometimes to the mall just to be alone.

I've also got my hair done, been to the spa for a pedicure, go out with the girls.

It sounds like you have postpartum depression. There are some meds. the Dr. can prescribe for you, or if you don't want to take meds. talk to your Dr. about different options of relieving stress and depression. Get your husband to watch the kids for a while and take a nap or get out of the house by yourself for alone time.

Although it doesn't feel like it now, it will get better, I went through it my self with my kids and felt hopeless, but I tried anti-depressants and started to get better within weeks.

Hope things get better for you soon.

Do something for yourself..
Do you still remember what you like to do? Find a hobby or dig up an old one. It's normal to want to have some alone time, just set up a 'me day' and do what makes you happy...
